Mumbai: Prithviraj Chavan who suceeded Ashok Chavan as Maharashtra Chief Minister following the disgraceful exit of Ashok Chavan  on corruption charges is now mired in another scandal which also involves a flat.

The new controversy is over a flat reserved for the weaker section through the chief minister’s 5% housing quota being allotted to Prithviraj Chavan.Apparently the new Chief Minister gained this 40 lakh rupees worth for 4 lakh rupees. He had also produced fake income certificate showing his annual income as Rupees 76,000. Sources close to Prithviraj Chavan revealed that he may surrender the flat in Wadala following the exposure.

Being involved in Corruption and their ability to dupe ‘Aam Admi’ has become the benchmark for Congress and with Bofor’s cover up – Top leaders have given a green signal to ‘Chota Netas’ for the loot.
