Mumbai Blast: Investigation updates

*The Home Ministry  confirmed the involvement of Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) in the Mumbai blasts.

*SIMI provided local logistics

*Police detained about 350 from the Malvani area in the western suburbs of Mumbai.

*Four suspicious people, handed over to Police by the public in Bhayander.The suspects had thrown the bags into the creek when the passing commuters noticed them and raised an alarm, leading to their arrest.Attempts are on to fish out the bags from the creek

*Sketches of blast suspects to publish soon.

*25 lakh Rupees  have been offered as a reward for any information on suspects.

*Timers hidden in pencils used, recovered from 3 sites.Matunga,Mahim and Borivili.

*On Tuesday Authorities defused another bomb in one of the last site.

*Bombs were placed in the luggage rack.

*Recovered Rexene bags and similar types of nails from all seven sites
