Vadodara:A rare occasion for the Indian media! and almost everyone chose to ignore it!

When the people of Kerala are shocked at the way the government has chosen M.F.Hussain,. An absconding criminal to give him a prestigious award almost mocking the great Ravi Varma, the people of Vadodara saw christian priests protesting along with the VHP against painting at the MS university faculty.

The Christians who usually are very careful not to be seen agreeing to the Sangh parivar on any issue was quite vocal this time.

The Sangh Pairvar had earlier protested against some obscene painting done at an exhibition by the faculty members.

The Christain priests have filed a case in the local court alleging that Chandra Mohan had hurt religious sentiments by using the Cross in sexually explicit paintings.

The surprise is that the faculty claims the painting were not for the public and only for internal evaluation. Which again is a simple acceptance of the fact that the faculty encourages the young Hindus to paint obscene painting with hurt people of different communities. This is as good as inciting violence and communal discord in the society.

The student is currently in police custody. The university is providing legal help to the student and has asked the faculty and the student to apologise.

HK hopes this will be an eye opener for the Hindu of Kerala on how to welcome M.F.Hussain in the state.
