Media blackout on 1st martyr of anti corruption movement Arun Dasji

Patna: Shri Arun Das, Anna supporter who was on fast for 8 days against Corruption in Patna passed away. As usual, our media which followed the London Riots and Arab spring blacked out this Martyr-hood who sacrificed his life for the Nation.

As per reports Arundasji was a Karyakarta of Bharat Swabhiman movement and was on fasting in Patna.

PATNA: The groundswell of support for the Anna movement is increasing in the state capital with each passing day. Youths, in particular, are joining the stir in large numbers as they believe that it is high time to bring about revolutionary changes in governance in the country.
Slogans like ‘Jago, utho, jagao, bhrastachar mitao’, ‘Jan lokpal lao, bhrastachar mitao’, ‘Be proud to say I am not corrupt’, ‘Anna tum aage badho, hum tumhare sath hain’ were raised by Anna supporters at the Kargil Chowk almost throughout the day.
More than 1,500 people visited the dharna site and as many as 32 activists were on daylong fast at the Kargil Chowk venue. Two more activists joined the indefinite fast on Sunday, taking the number of those on indefinite fast to four. They are Arun Das, T Upendra, Dhirendra and Satyendra Kumar Singh. Satyendra, a student of Veer Kuer Singh University, Ara, said that he has dropped out of his examination to be held on August 26 to be a part of the movement.

Ramdev, in his usual style, asserted that Anna’s health was as important as his fast. “India needs Anna as much as it needs a strong anti-corruption bill,” he said before turning somber and offering condolences at the death of an Anna supporter Arun Das who died on Wednesday morning after fasting for nine days. “His death should not go in vain because he has sacrificed his life for the country,” Ramdev asserted.

Apart from this brief references, HK Couldn’t find any information about this.
