Media and Congress celebrating the ‘failure’ of the spirit of India

via Krishna Kumar published on January 27, 2011

The TV footage of overzealous security forces snatching the national flags from the
youths who appeared at Srinagar’s Lal Chowk on Republic day doesn’t portray a good picture about the Indian govt. It gave out a completely wrong message to the rest of India and to the whole world that inspite of it’s tall claims, the govt itself doesn’t believe in it’s stand on Kashmir as an integral part of India ! Seeing the mood of the people, govt should have converted it into an all party function and offered security. It would have given out a strong message to the whole world about our resolve on Kashmir. The media which were projecting the developments till the last moment as a face saving pact and drama between the govt and BJP, started making statements like ‘Tiaranga Yatra failed’ intended to embarrass BJP. They failed to realize the fact that they were celebrating the ‘failure’ of the spirit of India not of a BJP program.

While explaining the situation which lead to the demolition of Babri Masjid, a prominent Hindu leader once correctly said “Imagine if at all Hindus decided to perform only a symolic Karseva and go back, do you think these media and pseudo secularists would have appreciated and admired the goodwill of Hindus ? Never. Then they would have turned the plate and embarrassed you and tried to put you down. They would have started telling “Hindus rejected the call of Sangh Parivar” … “The response to the call for Karseva was lukewarm” … “People lost interest in Ramjanmabhoomi” etc…

If BJP had been successful in hoisting the flag and if at all it caused any clash with police, the news headlines would have been “BJP turned Srinagar to a battle ground”. If BJP cancelled the Yatra “BJP realized it’s lack of support” or “BJP’s drama ended abruptly” etc. Hindus need to just ignore these media rascals who are only manipulators.
