March for bringing anti-Conversion law at Bangalore
Bangalore: Citizens for Harmony, a forum to create awareness among all walks of social life demanded to bring an anti-conversion law in Karnataka. In a jaatha(Maarch), lead by noted littérateurs Dr Doddarange Gouda, Dr Chidananda Murthy, Dr Sumatindra Nadig and several religious leaders, thinkers and hundreds of supporters went on for a Maarch from Mahatma Gangdhy statue at MG Road to Rajbhavan.
Sri Soumyanathanada Swamiji of Adichunchanagiri Matt, Sri Shadakshara Muni Swamiji of Adijambava Matt, Hiriyur, Sri Shankarappa Chief of Madiga Dandora Karnataka, Sri Husenappa Gangavathi, General Secretary of Madiga Dandora Karnataka, Sri Bharati Reddy, Sri Satoishchandra, Sri Prasanna Deshpande, advocates of Highcourt and several other leaders of different sectors were participated in this March. A memorandum was submitted to Governor of Karnataka. Nearly 300 thinkers, intellectuals, social activists participated in this March organised by Citizens for Harmony.
