Malady of being MAINO’S man

via HARAN BR published on November 4, 2006

Prime Minister Manmohan has very recently said that there is a lot of infighting gong on within the BJP and that even Mr. Vajpayee & Mr. Advani are quarrelling with each other. Mr. Arun Jaitely, one of the senior leaders of BJP has given a suitable reply that the PM is tying to divert the attention of the people to a non-existent issue. But, on our part, we have to analyze the motive behind Manmohan’s rhetoric.

There is a saying, “Perfect coordination leads to flawless performance”, for which the relationship between Atalji & Advaniji is the best ‘live’ example. The phenomenal growth of BJP under the leadership & guidance of these two stalwarts in a short span of two decades has taken the country by storm leading to the party forming a coalition government under its head. The former Prime Minister Atalji has shown this world how to run a coalition government (with 21 parties) meticulously & authoritatively and his Deputy Advaniji has exhibited how to coordinate, communicate & cooperate for the successful governance.

Now, the present UPA government, which is an unholy combination of opportunistic, self centered & mean minded pseudo secularist political parties, supported from outside by another bunch of 16th century policy holders, working in tandem with a one point agenda of keeping the BJP away from forming the government, has miserably failed in all aspects of governance. Here is a chosen (not elected) Prime Minister, who doesn’t have the capacity to control his cabinet ministers (both his own party men & allies), apart from being a subordinate to his ‘foreign boss’, who is neither accountable nor responsible, but, powerful. He is not even able to take an individual decision of his own, on even petty matters, making a pathetic display of Prime Ministership. In UPA, it is only self-interest and there is no value for national interest. Even though they are pretending to be one at the center, they fight with each other in the states, thereby taking the people of this country for a solid ride.

The fight between the allies not withstanding, the Congress party has made an unbeatable record of having highest number of factions in each & every state, fighting with one another. Even in the family of the property owners, sorry, party owners, that is the Nehru family; we have seen fights & quarrels between one another creating history. So, the Prime Minister, who is heading a pathetic & non-performing government, has tried to create a false picture utilizing his ‘old’ image of a sober & true intellectual, under the assumption that people would believe his statements. But, what he has not realized is that he has lost his credibility among the people of this country already and that the people would not buy his talks anymore.

Ironically, the pseudo secularist media has tried this ‘game’ of creating rifts between Atalji & Advaniji many times and failed miserably. Now, it is indulging in creating differences between the leaders of BJP, between RSS & BJP and between VHP & BJP, which is not giving the expected results. Maino & her Man should know that they couldn’t do what the media couldn’t. Poor Manmohan has become a laughing stock. May God help him & bless him with peace of mind.
