Madarsa teacher rapes woman in front of husband, held
MHOW: A teacher of Dahi Islami Madarsa was arrested on Sunday night after a woman registered a rape complaint against him.Â
Dahi police station in charge sub-inspector Ramesh Chandra Solanki said a 29-year-old woman complaint about Moulana Nomaan Siddiqui, 34, having allegedly raped her in front of her husband. Siddiqui was arrested under Sections 376, 506, 324 of IPC and the rape survivor’s husband has also been booked under various sections of IPC for helping the accused commit the crime. Siddiqui was produced before Kukshi court and later sent to judicial custody in Badwani. Her husband is on the run.Â
Solanki said as per complaint, the complainant and her husband, are natives of Sendhwa town in Khargone district and had moved to Dahi village of Dhar some months ago. Siddiqui and her husband were friends.Â
Quoting the complainant, Solanki said the accused had raped her earlier too in the absence of her husband and also made a video clip of the incident to blackmail her. However, when the woman complained to her truck driver husband, he took her to Siddiqui’s house, where Siddiqui again raped her. The woman, however, mustered courage and narrated her plight to her uncle, who lives in Indore. Thereafter, police complaint was lodged.
