MADIKERI: Joint convener of State Hindu Jagarana Vedike K T Ullas said, Muslim youths are spreading love jihad network to woo Hindu girls in Kodagu.Â
Addressing a press conference here, district convener of Bhajrang Dal Pudiyokkada Ramesh said, a case was registered against Sadali alias Siddiq alias Mohan of Napoklu who wooed a girl by pretending to be a Hindu. He promised to marry her and kept his friendship for a long time and tried to convert her. The girl tried to commit suicide after she realized he belonged to another community, is married and has four children. Napoklu police arrested the accused after receiving a complaint.
Ullas displayed the pamphlets, printed and distributed under the title KFD*, which said that the country should be Islamized totally by 2020. The pamphlet clearly calls upon Muslim youth to woo Hindu girls and convert them. Ullas said such anti-social activities, threatening the Hindu culture, tradition and unity, is rampant in Kodagu, Turuvekere and Shira.
Convener of the Hindu Jagarana Vedike, Roy Thammaiah, alleged that the girls are already being converted in colleges by an outfit called `smart friends’.
