Lessons to be Learnt from Srirangam Victory
I took up the cause only on 25 July when I came to know the Joint Commissioner remained insensitive for five long days even after stiff  protests by Devotees going to the temple and by regular Sri Vaishnavite elders fell on deaf ears. I along with Dr.Viswanthan MD, PhD requested the DDPPP to write a PRESS RELEASE and went to the Subeditor of Indian express and Dinamani and gave a press release. They wanted the report in a different format and wanted it addressed to the Chief Minister , who was elected from this constituency, so that the report would get the necessary attention that it deserves and we went and got it re written and gave it to the press and I think this is still being processed. It was further escalated in web and world wide E Groups.
Lessons to be learnt:
-
Learn to act in TimeÂ
-
React in TimeÂ
-
Reach out to the person who matters .Â
-
Learn to protest decently and legally.
-
Learn to work in teamsÂ
-
 Learn to resist.
-
Send protests messages to the person who matters and not to all sundry.
-
Always mention the contact details of the person who has violated your sanctum so that people can write, call, send email and fax./(>)
-
always maintain a diary of habitual violators and offenders, so that he/she can be called and told. We did it on many occasions and the one incident that I remember is the “neeya naana”  (You or Me ) programme in Vijay TV, in Nov 2009,when I called the sponsor , the MD of the Lions Date, and emphatically told him that we will launch a Boycott movement all over India. He relented and extended an apology. https://bharatabharati.wordpress.com/2009/11/22/the-media-and-hindu-sentiments-thamizhchelvan-ram-narayan-g-p-Srinivasan/
-
we cannot succeed on all occasion due to various reasons a,d for that matter we must not remain lazy.
-
we must make a diary of corporate sponsors of programmes that offend us, and contact them directly over phone and express our displeasure, and our intention and likely boycott of their products.Â
-
Believe me No corporate will like this voice from customers. We never contact them. We never tell them that we find your sponsored serials are offensive to our sentiments. This requires much attention, and we must ask habitual TV watchers to watch and note the programmes that hurt our sentiments.Â
-
When Baba Ram Dev was attacked, I spent five days in watching the programme and made 72 pages of notes, and made an extract of 16 pages and it and sent it under caption “GAMES MEDIA PLAY” .Â
-
This was further abridged into 6pages  & posted in Ivartha.com http://www.indiacause.com/blog/author/spg/

Internet helps in a big-way in spreading the message. It also reacts like a pit bull. Let us use it judiciously.
-
Let us not assume Hindu elders and traditional people are fully conversant with the internet. they are not.Â
-
We have to bridge the divide, by ‘taking their lonely fight’ with the anti-Hindus, temple administration, into the domain of world wide Hindu diaspora.
-
Similarly we must expose the net savvy gen NEXT Hindus to respect and come to the rescue to orthodox people. When a group of Saiva Siddhantins found it difficult to stop the ASI, I tool it up in the internet .

We need to be extremely Vigilant. many Things happen right in front of our noses. We might not note them.

We have to make use of experts when ever and where ever we can. This interview was published at the heights of Rama sethu controversy. https://www.haindavakeralam.com/HKPage.aspx?PageID=5616&SKIN=B

When international events that ought to be celebrated by Hindus are blacked deliberately by the media, we have to bring these incidents out, like when CERN Switzerland installed a Statue of Shiva Nataraja in their campus front. SHIVA’S COSMIC DANCE AT CERNhttp://www.google.co.in/#q=gp.srinivasan&hl=en&prmd=ivns&ei=paoyTtqOEcPYrQf69ZTMCw&start=30&sa=N&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&fp=abcae9f04a0cffe5&biw=1366&bih=600
