AMRAVATI

: Siva Sena today said they will not allow any lawyers in the country to fight the legal battle for Islamic terrorist Kasab who alone killed more than 30 innocent Hindus in the Mumbai terror attack.

Hundreds of Shiv Sainiks today attacked the residence of a lawyer, who showed interest in fighting the case.  Police said the activists, armed with canes, stormed the Vijay Colony-based residence of advocate Mahesh Deshmukh, who had shown willingness to fight the legal battle for Ajmal Kasab. They damaged telephone and furniture and threw books and documents out of the house.

Siva Sena welcomes the decision of Bar Associations all over India not to take up Kasab’s case. Sena leaders later met the office-bearers of Amravati Bar Association and requested them to take strong action against Deshmukh who was acting against the decision of the Association.
