Jayalalitha’s ’s confidant and former police officer who harassed Kanchi Acharyas died
Jayalalitha’s confidant and former Superintendent of Police Premkumar, who played a an evil and devious role in harassing the Kanchi Acharyas in the Sankararaman murder case has been suffering from kidney failure and a few other diseases, as he was an acute diabetic.
Premkumar, who had a controversial track record, was placed under suspension when DMK came back to power in 2006.As his condition worsened, he was brought to Chennai and admitted in a private hospital in Vadapalani this morning. Immediately after the admission he died. He was 55.
