Jaipur blasts: Cops arrest Muslim cleric

NEW DELHI
: A top Muslim cleric
has been arrested from Bharatpur in connection with the Jaipur blasts, a
private news channel reported on Monday.
Mohammad Ilias was arrested by police two days ago and has been brought to
Jaipur for interrogation. Ilias is the Shahar Qazi of Bharatpur.
Cops raided the Shehar Qazi’s premises and seized the madrassa computer. The
mobile phone of Illias’ wife was also seized.
Serial blasts had rocked Jaipur on May 13, claiming 66 lives. A little known
terror outfit – Indian Mujahideen – has claimed responsibility of the attack
through an email.
