IUML should solve Vandemataram debacle-P. Parameswaran

via HK published on September 3, 2006

Thiruvananthapuram:Bharatheeya Vicharakendram Director P. Parameswaran urged Indian Union Muslim League to take initiative in solving the Vandemataram controversy.

It is the moral responsibility of Muslim league as they are also part of the UPA government which issued the directive to educational institutions to sing Vandemataram on September 7th.

Muslim league always claims that, they are the true followers of secularism and democracy as per the Indian Constitution, and this is the perfect time for them to prove that their claims are not hollow.

They openly claimed that they have nothing to do with the Muslim League of Jinnah which stood for Pakistan,When Jinnah’s Muslim league was dismantled in all states in India, Kerala Muslim League took a different path saying that they stood for Indian Nationalism and have no sympathy towards Pakistan.

Being silent in this issue will only help to promote Islamic Terrorism in the state and if they are true Nationalists as they claims, should take up the Vandemataram issue and bring the Muslims into the mainstream, rather than forcing them to take swords by joining Islamic Terrorist organisations.
