Indian National Congress or Belgium National Congress?

New Delhi:Today a divided Election Commission has decided to send a notice to Congress Party leader Sonia Antonia Maino on a petition that wants her sacked as member of Parliament. The petition said Gandhi owed allegiance to the Belgian Constitution after she accepted the Order of Leopold in 2006. When Chief Election Commissioner N Gopalswami backed a notice for Gandhi, while Commissioner the Naveen Chawla oppossed the move.

By accepting Order of Leopold in 2006 a Belgian Honour which needed an oath prior to it owing allegiance to the Belgian Constitution Sonia Antonia Maino, an MP of Indian Parliament has seriously violated Indian Constitution.

Sonia Gandhi took the oath when she became a member of Association for Order of Leopold and this go against the oath she took as an MP owing EXCLUSIVE total and undivided allegiance to the Constitution of India.

This Oath which she took owing allegiance to the Belgian Constitution is Challenging the very concept of Indian Constitution

While accepting this Belgian Honour one has to take oath that

“The presentation of a candidate occurs with some ceremonial : the admitted candidate is introduced by the officials wearing their decorations. After the reading of the rules and the minutes of admission by the secretary, the president addresses a “fraternal speech” to the new member and invites him/her to observe the rules “as a good and loyal member”. Next he invites him/her to take the oath as follows:

“I swear not to undertake anything that could damage the respectability of the Order of Leopold and to fully observe the Regulations and act as a loyal and faithful member.”http://www.orderofleopold.be/en/hiss01.htmAbove all this,The Honour is reserved for very most important Belgian nationals and to some distinguished foreign persons who contributed in one way to the Belgian military, the Belgian civil society or the Belgian State.

Indian citizens have very right to know how Sonia served the interests of Belgium, that too being only a Member of Parliament and President of a Political party in India.?
