‘Horlicks thief’ , Open his mouth

It took more than a year for the Union Chemical and  Fertilizer minister MK Azhagiri to open his mouth in Parliament. For this to happen speaker of the assembly had to call him and ask why he is not speaking in Lok Sabha. Perhaps this could be a record as well.

Are these school kids attending lok sabha? How can an elected representative who is also a minister keep mum in parliament, especially when farmers are committing suicide and also issues like Bhopal gas tragedy verdict is out (these are few of the issues his ministry should have intervened and spoke about).

 Charan Das Mahant, whose was the lucky person to get his question answered by the minster in parliament commented that “”I am fortunate to have my question listed as the first question of the day and perhaps it is also the first time the minister is replying to a question,”

Do we need such ministers in office? Definitely the common man in the country does not want a minister who is irresponsible and inactive. But Congress want him to be in office as that is the only way to please M Karunanidhi and his party DMK so that congress can retain power.

See Karunanidhi’s family, Karunanidhi is Chief Minister of TN, his son Azhagiri is union minister, his other son Stalin is deputy chief minister of TN, his grand nephew Dayanidhi Maran is Union minister for textiles, his daughter Kanimozhi is Rajyasabha MP..the list goes on.

Conclusion : To become a minister and do nothing, you need to be born in congress or Karunanidhi family.
