‘Hindustan’ vanishing from India!!

via HK Correspondent published on January 9, 2009

The UPA government’s earlier drive has been to remove the `Lotus’ from where ever possible. Latest news has been that Hindustan Latex Ltd is going to remove the `Hindustan’ from its name on a lame excuse that the word Hindustan has been proved a taboo for their products in Gulf countries. What a joke ? People who were in the Gulf countries for over 25 years vouch that they have not at any time noticed any such problem in those countries. In fact, what they prefer in Gulf countries is the best products from countries around the world. Mangoes they may take from Pakistan, Apple they may take from Iran or Chile, Oranges they would take from Lebanon, Rice and Textile products they may prefer from India etc.  Hindustan Latex’s prime produce is Condoms and in Gulf countries, its demand is very poor since the use of such family planning devices is unIslamic and its sale is restricted.

What the UPA Government aiming at is to remove `Hindustan’ from wherever possible and lastly refer the country only as India and not Hindustan.  The idea of removing Hindustan may be aimed at pleasing the minorities but to what extend could they carry on with these appeasement measures?  Or else, these deliberate measures are just test dozes to check the vulnerability of Hindus and watch their reaction and then formulate future plans. So, do react violently to these type of actions.
