Hindu Makkal Katchi warns Sun TV

CHENNAI: Hindu Makkal Katchi took offence over the ‘Nijam’ programme on Sun TV. According to the party, the programme insults Hindu religion and its gods.
“They have programmes insulting practices and deities of the Hindu religion, why don’t they show programmes about other religions too. We have already conducted protests against this and have also sent a complaint to the TV station. If the programme doesn’t stop, we will go into the Sun TV office and stop the programme.â€
The party along with Ram Sene also demanded censorship for television to prevent vulgarity.
