High Caste Christians threatening Poor Christians – PCLM
New Delhi : Poor Christians Liberation Movement has decried the hate campaign launched against it (PCLM) by the Catholic Bishops Conference of India (CBCI), All India Christian Council (AICC), a section of Arcbiships, bishops and priests. Those people, who are against PCLM and poor Christians in India, are actually not honest for the in their current struggle for reservation for converted Christians, Told R L Francis leader of PCLM
Â
PCLM recently in a national conference on 18th March, 2010 has brought out a brief description and a critique from Christian Perspective on Ranganath Misra Commission Report. Some of the parts of the book was published in national media. Seeing this, the Church leaders are in jittery and they are threatening the members of PCLM. Members of PCLM are not afraid of dishonest people and not greedy of money as they are, said R. L. Francis.
PCLM had always criticized the double standards of High Caste Christians and converted Christians. They exposed the hollowness of so called equality within Christianity which their pastors boasted prior to conversion. PCLM urges Christian organisations first to provide reservations to poor Christians in their own institutions and not to divide society in the name of Rangnath Misra Report.
