After Mumbai terror attacks:

“Before I could reach there, the terrorists who had attacked one of the
hospitals, the Cama hospital, had left and those who attacked the
Railway station had also left.”

“We have certain information but it is premature. It will not be proper
to share premature information as it may compromise the ongoing
operations.”



After blasts in Samjhauta Express

“There is a breakthrough in the search for clues. We have sufficient
information but we are not going to reveal for the sake of
investigations”.

After Mumbai train blasts

“The Government had some advance knowledge that such an attack may take
place, but we did not have information about the place and time.”

After Assam blasts



“These are cowardly acts perpetrated by elements which do not want
peace to prevail. Their aim (to create communal disturbances) has been
thwarted. If I shriek and shout, if I abuse people, if I frighten you
or if I misuse law, will I become a strong Home Minister.”
