Govt should resign over affidavit on Ram Setu: Baburao Vaidyaji
NAGPUR: Terming the affidavit filed by the Centre in the Supreme Court over the ‘Ram Setu’ issue and Lord Ram as the greatest sin, Sangh ideologue has said the government should resign to repent its sins.
The affidavit has hurt the religious sentiments of crores of people in the country and has tried to prove wrong Maharishi Valmiki and Sant Tulsidas and it would be better if Prime Minister Manmohan Singh tendered his resignation, veteran Sangh leader Baburao Vaidya wrote in his weekly column in the Marathi daily Tarun Bharat today.
