Golden Sword for Devi Mookambika

A devotee has offered a golden sword with silver handle to the Goddess Mookambika, the presiding deity of the Kollur temple in Karnataka on Wednesday.
The sword weighed 457 grams while its handle 210 grams. Besides, the devotee, Mr Gaurav Srinivas, a businessman also offered another sword in silver weighing 945 gram. The total value of the offerings is estimated at Rs five lakh, according to temple sources.
