Haridwar:Central intelligence arrested and issued deportation order to 13 Foreign Islamic mercenaries  here yesterday.10 were from Indonesia and 3 from Britain, Police also arrested two translators hailing from Mumbai with them.As per official version they were engaged in conversion activities.

They were hard core Islamic fundamentalist belonging to Tabligi Jamat. Tabligi Jamat is a fundamentalist group steadily spreading its roots in others parts of the country. Incidentally Ghanchi Muslims of Godhra, and several accused in the burning of hapless bogie of the Sabarmati Express carrying Hindu devotees, were  the followers of the Tabligi Jamat. Al Qaeda finds Tabligi Jamat followers as apt candidates for their recruitment for global Jihad.

Presence of these Islamic terrorist in a Hindu holy town is quite suspicious. Before deporting such global terrorists by charging a petty case on illegal stay, Intelligence should probe more into their background activities and their links.
