From 11 lakh to 43000 Crore in Four years – A Congress business empire in AP.

YRS and Jagan Mohan Reddy in Andhra were the best and efficient leaders for Sonia Congress high command till YSR died in a Helicopter accident. Ever since, the story has changed and Jagan broke from Congress and started a new party named YSR congress party.

When Sonia (Antonia Albina Maino) Congress felt that YSR Congress is over shadowing Sonia congress, a slew of retaliatory actions were started against Jagan. One of that was the Income Tax raids and notices issued to his firms.

Congress leader Shankar Rao filed a petition in Court asking for a CBI court and a division bench has found prima facie evidence against Jagan Mohan Reddy and his firms. Court has asked CBI to submit a report to court in 2 weeks time.

Accusing Jagan, the son of late Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y Samuel Rajasekhara Reddy, popularly known as YSR, of “amassing public money” during his father’s reign and committing several violations of laws of the land, Shankar Rao said the Kadapa MP indulged in money laundering by floating fictitious firms and routing “black money” through some companies in Mauritius.

Rao alleged that Jagan’s income which was only Rs. 11 lakh in March 2004, had now gone up to Rs. 43,000 crore. “When Rajasekhara Reddy was in power (2004-2009), he favoured some people in various projects and the money earned was invested into companies owned by his son,” said Sherwani.

In his petition, the minister levelled allegations against Jagan and 42 individuals and companies including Jagathi Publications, Indira Television, Bharathi Cements, India Cements, Pennar Cements, Carmel Asia Holdings Limited and Sandur Power.

Rao also alleged that Jagan made money through allotment of mines, lands and licences during his father’s rule and even used hawala and money laundering routes.

Jagan resigned as MP and quit Congress party in November. He floated YSR Congress party in March this year and was re-elected as MP from Kadapa in the by-elections held in May.

1) Why was Sonia congress silent till Jagan broke away from Congress? Why you pretnded of not knowing about this loot when YSR was in power?
2) Why not probe YSR along with Jagan? He favored his son to loot the state and Country.
3) 2004-2009 congress rule has made Jagan from 11 Lakh in 2004 to 43,000 Crore. What is this business secret, which Sonia Congress only knows.
4) When Congress asks probe against Yediyurappa of Karnataka for his favors to his son, why don’t you ask for probe against YSR as well?
5) How many more Jagan’s you have threatened with IT cases against and made them silent?
