FIR against Kanchi acharya shows ““trigger-happy mentality” of TN Govt:Dr S Swami

Dr Subramania Swamy today described the filing of the latest FIR against the Kanchi Acharya Jayendra Sarawathi by the Tamil Nadu police on charges of removing jewellery and Shivalinga from a temple is “ridiculous” and that demonstrated the “trigger-happy mentality” of the Chennai government.


“This only showed the moral bankruptcy and trigger-happy mentality of the Tamil Nadu government. It is a gross misuse of authority by government officials for which they are liable 
for defamation,” he told media persons here.This incident, he said, had substantiated his warning earlier that Hinduism is in danger in Tamil Nadu.


He said that “a Hindu Agenda” would be framed at the Conference of the VHP in Erode on March 18, 2006 which he would attending. This agenda would become the basis for forming a “Hindu Front” before the May elections to the state assembly. At the two-day conference all the seers/monks in Tamil Nadu would participate,he added
