Financial Assistance for publication of Magazines & Journals dedicated to Indian culture and Heritage

Applications are invited from established cultural organizations, publishers and editorial
management of journals and magazines that have made a mark in dealing with various
aspects of India’s culture and heritage, for assistance under the Scheme.  The Scheme
offers a financial support of upto Rs. 10 lakh and, in exceptional cases, upto Rs. 20 lakh a
year, to magazines and journals dedicated to India’s culture and heritage. Details of the
Scheme, application forms and instructions for applicant organizations can be viewed at
the website of Ministry of Culture: www.indiaculture.nic.in
There is no last date to apply; this invitation for applications shall remain open upto
31.03.2012 and until issue of a fresh invitation for the year 2012-13. Applications duly
filled in and supported with all the required documents, would be taken up in batches for
consideration by Expert Appraisal Groups, periodically, say once a quarter. Incomplete
applications will not be entertained.Â
