Finally SC to consider Petition to protect Ram Sethu

New Delhi : The Supreme Court will hear a petition opposing SSCP project’s implementation by destroying Ram Sethu.
The Petition was filed by Swami Sri Vidyananda Bharatiji from Rameswaram.
The petition higlighted both sceintific and religious objections against the destruction of the Ramsetu.
The petition said the area was considered to be ‘teertha’ (religious place) by the Hindu community and also forms part of religious beliefs of Chinese and Japanese.
