: One Major and three
Army Troopers have been killed in the ongoing gun battle against Jihadi
Terrorist here. Fierce gun battle started three days back in the Shamswari
mountain range of Kupwara district.

Troops surrounded a
large forest area in the Shamswari mountain range three days back, on specific
information about presence of militants.”Hiding militants opened fire at
the surrounding troops, which was returned, leading to firing exchanges which
are still continuing,” told defence spokesman Lt. Col. J.S.Brar, Reports
Rediff

“So far six
militants have been killed in the area. One army major and three troopers also
died in the two encounters. The operation is still continuing,” The slain
army major has been identified as Major Mohit Sharma of 1-para regiment, and a
resident of Rajendranagar in Ghaziabad,
Uttar Pradesh.”Operations are being conducted in the densely forested
areas. Arms and ammunition have been also been recovered from those
areas,”

 

Earlier, one army
trooper was wounded, when Pakistani troops resorted to unprovoked firing at the
Indian positions in the northern
Uri
sector of
the
Line of Control on Sunday.

Though
the fierce battle which claimed the life of Three Indian Army officers have
been going on for past three days Nation and it’s Mainstream Media is not
bothered about this sacrifices of our Soldiers. The Media which gave a second
to second account of attack on Mumbai fails to appreciate such hundreds of attacks
going on in J&K. 

Here Back in Kerala our Government went a step ahead by withdrawing the Anti Terror Squad inorder to safegaurd Left front’s new  ‘Secular’ ally PDP and it’s leader Madni
