Farhad reiterated death threat to Taslima

NEW DELHI : Challenging the Indian constitution and the whole nation, Islamic fundamentalist Majidulla Khan Farhad of Hyderabad-based Majlis Bachao Tehriq once again openly announced unlimited financial reward to anybody who would kill the writer & social activist Taslima Nasreen.

Farhad was among those criminals who had attacked the Taslima at the Hyderabad Press Club last week.

However the Bangladeshi writer today asked the central government to provide her adequate security in view of the latest treat to her life by Islamic fundamentalists.

“I hope the central & state government will provide adequate security to me,” she told reporters in Kolkata.
