Falsification of our history started from it’s very name itself – Hindustan

published on April 15, 2012

We have been frequently told and taught that Hindustan is believed to be derived from the old Persian word Hindu, which in turn is derived from Sindhu, the Sanskrit name for the Indus River.

Hindus were said to be the people living in other side of river Sindhu and there is no religion called Hinduism according to our Historians.

But no Historians have yet looked into this Sanskrit Sloka from the Barhaspatya Samhita of the Rigveda which dates further back to that time period when no other civilizations were civilized enough any where across the world.

Himalyam Samarabhya
Yavadindusarovaram
Tam Deonirmitam Desham
Hindusthanam Prachakshate

Translation: “The country which starts from Himalayas and the borders of which reach till the Indian Ocean (Indu Sarovaram), has been created by Gods and its name is Hindusthan.”
