Extra-constitutional powers for ‘Maino’ Family

Congress President Sonia Gandhi’s daughter Priyanka Vadra has purchased 4.5bighas of land in rural Himachal, near the President’s Summer Retreat. This is in violation of the existing law of Himachal Pradesh that only those who are residing there can purchase land in rural Himachal.

The house site also got a new road , but not the permission to build the house. So the young lady has written to the President and the Home Ministry, seeking permission to build the house on the site near the Retreat, stating security reasons.

Sonia’s children also seem to have acquired extra-constitutional powers like their mother! Is India on the verge of being turned into a banana republic or is it the way the Italian mafia functions?

Poor Amitabh Bachan was harassed no end for investing his money in a farm-land, stating that he is a farmer. I wonder what devious tactic Priyanka Vadra adopted to acquire the plot in rural Himachal in contravention of the existing law of the land.

In all probability the law will be amended/bent, for the sake of Sonia Maino’s daughter!
