‘Eat Cow Meat’ – Minority Welfare Ministry exhorts Children

According to Press Reports, the Minority Welfare Ministry of the Central Govt. has brought out a book titled “Poshan”. In this book the UPA govt. has advised that to increase oxygen and iron in the blood, children should eat chicken and cow meat also, along with vegetables. The book is brought out by the Minorities and Child Development Dept. This book is being distributed in minority dominated areas of UP.
Apart from hurting the religious sentiments of Hindus, by asking the children to eat cow meat, isn’t the UPA Govt. violating the constitution? Article 48 of our Constitution, under Directive Principles of State Policy, states that: “Organisation of agriculture and animal husbandry – The State shall endeavor to organise agriculture and animal husbandry on modern and scientific lines and shall, in particular, take steps for preserving and improving the breeds, and prohibiting the slaughter of cows and calves and other milch and draught cattle.”

When the Minority Welfare Ministry of the Central Govt. says that cow meat should be eaten, it obviously means that cow should be slaughtered. While the Constitution under Article 48 says that ‘the state shall, in particular, take steps for preserving and improving the breeds, and prohibiting the slaughter of cows and calves and other milch and draught cattle’, the UPA Govt. does the exact opposite and encourages slaughter of cows and calves. This is a violation of our constitution. What is surprising is that no Hindu organisation or Sants has taken up this matter with the seriousness it deserves.
The UPA Govt. has scant respect for the constitution. The vote-hungry UPA Govt. in the name of minority welfare, has been violating the constitution at will. It all started with a shameless Prime Minister saying that minorities should have the first claim on our resources. Since then, the UPA Govt has forgotten that there is something called “Constitution of India”. Strangely, even the opposition is not questioning this blatant violation of our constitution by the UPA Govt.

It is obvious that this book is written by a fanatic Muslim, to mock at Hindus. Otherwise, why didn’t he also mention Pork (meat of Pig), along with chicken and cow?
