‘Down with home-grown Jihadis’

An emergency meeting of the National Alert Group (NAG) was held yesterday to consider the national security implications of the positively anti-Hindu and anti-RSS stand taken by two senior Cabinet Ministers at a Union Cabinet Meeting presided over by our Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh. The following are the core members of this group called National Alert Group (NAG) Dr S Kalyanaraman, S N Chari, S Srinivasan, Captain Balakrishnan Hariharan, Brigadier VRP Sarathy and Radha Rajan.

        After the meeting this National Alert Group has issued the following statements.

        At a recent Cabinet Meeting presided over by our surrogate Prime Minister, two of his senior Congress Ministers, Arjun Singh, Union HRD Minister and A R Antulay, Union Minister for Minority Affairs, have made an irresponsible observation that Hindu groups faked terrorist attacks and blamed them routinely on Muslims. They were making this utterly irresponsible and totally unfounded observation during the Cabinet discussion on 13 July on government response to the Mumbai train bombings.

        ‘There is no doubt in the public mind that both these irresponsible Ministers would go to the end of the world to create new Concentration Camps for torturing the Swayam Sevaks of the RSS. During that Cabinet meeting, only Sharad Pawar showed a tremendous sense of responsibility when he told the HRD Minister Arjun Singh to refrain from trivializing the issue. What is the use of an Union Cabinet if it becomes the place where only false statements can be brought before the presiding Prime Minister? Is Cabinet the final resting place where stern grim and scorching truth should be given anonymous burial?’

        ‘Against this sordidly none-too-civil, almost bordering on the secularly criminal, background the Hindus of India in absolute majority in terms of numbers would like the government of India to provide immediate factual answers to the following questions:

        1 ‘On what factual basis and documentary evidence, these two irresponsible Ministers have come to the conclusion that only the peace loving Hindus of India and the disciplined service-minded members of the RSS were responsible for the recent Mumbai blasts?

        2. ‘What accounts for the calculated and cold silence of the Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil during the Cabinet meeting?

        3. ‘What are the views of the Prime Minister on the revolutionary and Islamic?and of course Jihadic?views of two of his Cabinet colleagues like Arjun Singh and Antulay?

        4. ‘Does the Prime Minister agree with the views of his National Security Advisor M K Narayanan expressed by him at the Cabinet meeting to the effect that the Mumbai blasts were part of a LeT sponsored attack with the home grown jihadis in the SIMI providing logistical support?

        5. ‘Who authorised Arjun Singh and Antulay to usurp the functions of the Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil? Was it an act of voluntary abdication of Shivraj Patil or an involuntary act of submission to a secularly stronger terrorist force within the Union Cabinet?

        Our helplessly hopeless Prime Minster has won for himself an immortal place in world history by describing the public response in Mumbai as, the people’s resilience and resolve to triumph over the evil designs of the merchants of death and destruction. By coming out with such piously puerile nonsense rooted in sanctimoniously secular humbug, he and the UPA government have lost the battle against Islamic terrorism even in the first round. Anti-national and anti-Hindu Ministers like Arjun Sigh and Antulay, dressed in their brief authority, would like all the terrorists in India to enjoy minority rights in the shape of unearned Haj subsidies. In a so called secular government of India, two Union Cabinet Ministers cannot be given the official freedom to treat the Hindus in majority in India as infidels or kafirs!!

The nation expects the Prime Minister to make a heroic, clear and unequivocal statement against Islamic terrorism.

While we concede the right of Antulay and Arjun Singh to their personal opinions or suspicions about the RSS and other Hindu organisations, as responsible Ministers in the Union Cabinet, attributing the monstrous atrocity perpetrated in Mumbai and other parts of India to these Hindu organisations without a shred of evidence and completely ignoring the overwhelming indications/evidence pointing to Jihadi terrorism is indeed cynical, perverted and Anti National. Such irresponsible and deliberate misleading of fellow Indian citizens, tantamounts to playing in to the hands of Anti-national forces rooted in Pakistan inimical to the interests of a United India and therefore must be held accountable not only by the Indian Parliament but also by the President of India!’

Responses
