PATHANAMTHITTA: ABVP national secretary Vishnudutt Sharma has warned against the new school curriculam with ‘‘distorted history.’’

Inaugurating the district convention of the ABVP here on Friday, Sharma said that in the new curriculam, name of the leading martyrs of the Independenace struggle and freedom fighters could not find a place. The Union Government has even gone to the extent of misguiding the Supreme Court by filing affadavit damaging the rich heritage of the country, he said.

The ABVP will launch a nationwide agitation agianst the Central Governemnt’s policy of commercialisation of education sector and to protect the integrity of the country.

Parishad state assistant secretary B K Prayeshkumar delivered the valedictory adddress. State committee member Sreejith presided over the function. Sarath Krishnan welcomed the gathering and R Rahul proposed a vote of thanks.
