Dire Consequences for Church Attackers, What about Temple looters?
In the wake of a few instances of breaking of glass panes in some churches in Karnataka, the Chief Minister Shri.Yediyurappa has warned of “dire consequences” to the miscreants.
Whenever there is a minority angle involved our politicans react instantaneously. But think of this, every alternate day in some State or the other temple idols, ornaments etc are looted, yet not a single politican is bothered. Nobody warns anybody of “dire consequences “. It is this kind of double standard that annoys any right thinking person.
Why can’t we make all temple theft cases as cognizable offences, and detain the culprits under Goondas Act/Organised crime Act ?
After all it is our national heritage and treasures that are being plundered. Let us pressurise the BJP governments in Karnataka/Gujarat/Madhya Pradesh etc to initiate the process.
