This is the general query of various congress leaders in Karnataka who have taken exception to A.K.Antony’s general instruction to stay away from the sangh’s Guruji centenary celebrations.

The instruction from Delhi high command came to patriotic congress leaders of Karnataka who took part in the Centenary celebrations of one of the most patriotic son of Bharath Matha-Guruji Golwalkar.

Posters of the centenary celebrations appeared with names of prominent Congress leaders on them were faxed to Delhi by the pseudosecualars of the same party.

Interestingly many congress workers were actively involved with the arrangements of the programme.

The attitude of Delhi leaders of congress was that there is no problem in attending a pro-Saddam rally as Saddam was a friend of India! (As if Guruji was an enemy of Bharath!).

Karnataka saw severe communal disturbance after various senior congress leaders attended a rally to protest the hanging of Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein. Senior leaders like Jaffar Sherif, Roshan Baig and Dharam Singh were the prominent The attendees proceeded to stone a temple and destroyed banners and posters of the sangh programme celebrating the centenary celebrations. The response was quick and fast, leading to a strife.

Bangalore has been dripped in saffron colour with flags and huge posters covering almost every street, on occasion of this programme. Various senior sangh and VHP activists have been personally looking after all the arrangements.

Congress is now getting scared of the reactions from its cadres. They are afraid that there will be serious erosion with the Hindus of its ranks. The Congress doesn’t want the BJP to gain more power and to be in a position to consolidate its vote bank by the time a BJP chief Minister takes power.
