Dangerous Jihadi Popular Front

via HK Correspondent published on February 14, 2007

BANGALORE : For several years, NDF, Al-Ummah, SIMI, other Jihadi terrorist groups have been working in Kerala and different parts of India creating a serious security challenge to citizens. Inspired by Islam, financed by Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Iran, NDF was behind the murder of hundreds of people in Kerala and Tamil Nadu.

Although NDF and other Jihadi groups were successful in their murder march, these scattered groups were not well structured. Now plans are on the way to establish a well-structured, well funded terrorist organization with continued capacity to operate with immunity in every part of Kerala and other states.  Pakistan ISI and Middle East based Jihadi groups serve as the source of motivation, inspiration and they provide resources and ideological support.

Jihadi terrorist groups like NDF, Al-Ummah and several Islamic groups have scheduled a meeting for February 15 & 16 to form a larger Popular Front to continue Jihadi terrorism on a wider scale. These radical islamic groups are motivated by insane hatred and are willing to kill innocent men, women and children. Popular Front’s ideology, strategy and methods are part of the global war against infidels. For building morale and project legitimacy, NDF and other Jihadi outfits have decided to form this Popular Front. Jihadi leaders think that the name change will help them to bribe media, liberal intellectuals, phony secularists and can create momentum.

At its core, Jihadis in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka are profoundly part of the global Jihadi networks fighting the infidels.  Popular Front, NDF, al-Umma or Simi, they reflect beliefs and characteristics of Islamic Jihad, Communism and Fascism. As a result of the unholy alliance with the Marxists and Pseudo secularists, Jihadi terrorist groups have penetrated deeply all Muslim communities around Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. Unlike in other parts of India, Jihadis in Kerala concentrate on soft targets and involve in counterfeit money transaction, hawala distribution, drug trade, arms smuggling, kidnapping and contract murder.  Jihadis hope to recruit new members including college students under the new name.

The evolution from splinter Jihadi groups into ideology based Popular Front presents a complex challenge to Hindus in Kerala. Well financed, tightly controlled, Islamic Popular Front will create a more aggressive terrorist network that is more difficult to predict and preempt. The hybrid ideological and operational nature of Popular Front and its scope and dimensions are complex and dangerous.
