CPM MLA’s Daughter and Muslim Friend assaulted

Mangalore :
Unknown men reportedly assaulted
daughter of a CPM MLA from Kerala, who was travelling
with her male friend Shabeeb a Muslim.

Shruthi daughter of MLA was travelling in
a bus from Kasargod to Mangalore, when they were dragged and reportedly held captive for
one hour.

TV channel quoted the girl’s father, CPM MLA from Kerala
C H Kunhambhu, as saying, “The activists kept my
daughter captive for one hour and also took away her
mobile phone.”

After releasing the girl to her hostel, her friend Shabeeb have been assaulted and released later in night.  

Pramod Muthalik, Sreeram Sena leader denied the involvement of his organisations activist in the attack in response to the accusation by CPM MLA towards them.
