AHMEDABAD :
The CPI (M) terror violence in Kannur which lost the life of five Hindu activists and injuring a dozen, is making its presence in Gujarat. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is all set to stage major protests in all the districts of Gujarat today.

RSS prant sanghchalak Amrit Kadivala decried the incidences of violence in Kerala, which has claimed the lives of five RSS members. “The Marxist government there is actively aiding the goons raised by the party to perpetrate violence against the Sangh members,” Kadivala told media persons on Sunday. He said in Kunnur, not only is there a ban on RSS shakhas, but even other political outfits including the Congress and the CPI cannot indulge in organisational activities. “Even the honest and efficient police officials are being transferred,” said Kadivala, adding that two investigating officials were recently transferred only because they reported the absence of an RSS link in the murder of two of the CPM cadres, Dhanesh and Jijesh alias Virappan.

RSS in its subsequent meetings at Vrindaban decided to stage its protests across the country, which will percolate to the district level in the last week of March.

Sources from RSS admit that the Kannur issue is likely to take a stronger political turn with the Lok Sabha elections just round the corner.
