Corrupt Maino Vs Clean George

The CBI has filed FIR against the former Defence Minister George Fernandez on the purchase of world famous Barak Missiles of Israel. The CBI’s investigations are based on the so-called sting operation conducted by Tehelka. There seems to be a lot of substance in the allegation of NDA that the UPA is indulging in political vendetta, due to the following reasons:

 

The whole country knows that Mr. George Fernandez is a man of honesty & integrity with an impeccable track record spanning more than 40 years. When the Congress raised a hue & cry on the deal, the then NDA government constituted Pukhan Commission to enquire in to the deal. But, the present UPA government, after giving an extension of three months, has abruptly shelved the Pukhan commission before submitting the final report because of the fact that it cleared George Fernandez in its initial report. Apart from Pukhan commission, the present Defence Minister Pranab Mukherjee, who is still continuing with the purchase of another set of Barak Missiles, has also given a clean chit to George Fernandez.

 

While Former Naval chief Admiral Sushil Kumar, who had an unblemished tenure, sticks to his stand of recommending Barak Missiles for its efficiency & effectiveness, the other disgraced former chief Admiral Vishnu Bagwat has suddenly sprung from nowhere in support of the CBI.  Also, when we look at the track record of CBI in the last 30 months, we can clearly infer that the central agency has been acting as a stooge to Sonia. Firstly, it exonerated the former minister of state for petroleum Sathish Sharma in the petrol pump scam. Secondly, it facilitated the escape of Italian business man Quattrochi with the Bofors booty. Thirdly, it attempted to drop the investigations on the Taj corridor scam involving BSP Chief Mayawati, but thanks to the interference of Supreme Court, the case is still alive now. The CBI is doing its level best to prolong & dodge the investigations against the disgraced Lalu Prasad on the multi crore fodder scam. Recently the agency indulged in foisting false cases on Manekha Gandhi in the allotment of money for the schools in her constituency. All these actions of the CBI were on the instructions of Madam Maino, who has become an expert in safe guarding her acquaintances & taking actions against her opponents. The end result is that the CBI has lost its reputation & respect among the general public.

 

  Moreover the close acquaintance of Tehelka Chief Tharun Tejpal with Sonia is also a well known fact, which adds credibility to the charge that the entire Tehelka operation is engineered by Sonia as a personal vendetta against George Fernandez, because of his steadfast campaign against her nefarious political designs & attempts to become the Prime Minister of India. Also, when we look at the way this government has handled the matters pertaining to the armed forces in the last 30 months, we can clearly understand that Maino & her Ministers are bent upon demoralizing & de-motivating the Armed Forces, thereby bringing disrepute to the Indian Military.

 

 The Congress party, which has earned the distinction of being the most corrupt party, which had already disgraced itself by boycotting & insulting George Fernandez continuously for three years, is digging its own grave by foisting false cases on a man, who is known for his straight forwardness. It is another opportunity for the people to understand the nefarious designs of Congress & it’s Chief.
