Congress workers assault Dr Swamy

RAI BARELI: Janata Party President Dr Subramnian Swamy was assaulted by Congress workers here on Friday. Senior leaders of the Congress party who are the family retainers of the Gandhi household did not allow Dr Swamy to get down from his car when he reached the district magistrate’s office to file a complaint about the candidature of Sonia Gandhi.

“They were out to kill me. They told me that if I got down from the car they will finish me off,” Dr Swamy told HK over telephone from New Delhi. “I wanted to tell the District Magistrate who is also the returning officer for the Rae Bareli Lok Sabha constituency to scrutinize the facts filed by the Italian born Sonia Gandhi. As per Indian rules, this woman is not entitled to contest the election,” said Dr Swamy.  

The case filed by Dr Swamy exposing the false claims by Sonia Gandhi that she was a graduate of the Cambridge University is under hearing at Lucknow High Court. Sonia Gandhi was a bar maid at Cambridge in the early sixties and used to accompany rich people as escort. It was during one such missions that she trapped an unsuspecting Rajiv Gandhi whom she enslaved with her sweet mannerisms.

Dr Swamy ridiculed the action of the Congress workers. “They do not know that there exists an institution by name judiciary in this country. The Congress leaders are experts in subverting the constitution and democratic foundations. But they are yet to see the power of judiciary,” said Dr Swamy. Strangely enough, the ‘national secular media’ including The Hindu, NDTV 24X7 and IBN-CNN blacked out the entire episode.
