Less Told Facts – Morichjhanpi Massacre by Marixsts

It is not justified to put the blame on the CPI(M) alone. Congress splited the first blood when Nehru in 1950 signed a treaty with Pakistan by which he had refused to cornise Hindu refugees from East Pakistan as refugees and asked them to go back to Pakistan. Refugees were forced into Transit camps for repatriation to Pakistan; they were not allowed to exchange property with the Muslims in India, although refugees from West Pakistan were allowed to do that all over India and got very generous allowances.

Shyama Prasad Mukherjee resigned from the Cabinet after protesting against this discreminatory policy; but then he was killed in Kashmir by Nehru’s friend Sheikh Abdulla.

Congress government of B.C.Roy also opened fire on the Hindu refugees and killed a lot.
In Assam the then Home Minister later the President of India FarirUddin Ali Ahmed invited the Muslims from East Pakistan and allowed them to kill the Bengali Hindu refugees from East Pakistan who went to Assam.

CPI(M) has followed the policy of the Congress government to allow millions of Muslims from Pakistan to settle down in West Bengal; the Congress did the same in Assam.
