Congress, Commies ignore Pramod Mahajan

NEW DELHI: Though the Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai is flooded with the friends and relatives of Pramod Mahajan who was admitted here on Saturday following an attempt on his life, the Congress and Communist leaders are conspicuous by their absence. In fact the Congress and the Communist leaders are silent on the whole issue. It is customary on the part of politicians to morally support and express their solidarity with their political foes in times of personal tragedies. But since Pramod Mahajan belongs to BJP, the Congress and the Marxists chose to look the other way at the time of this national crisis. Congress President Sonia Gandhi whose hatred for Hindus is infamous throughout, has maintained a studies silence since the shooting incident. Taking a cue from the Sonia Gandhi, the entire Congress brigade too ignored the serious injuries sustained by one of the youthful leaders of India. There is nothing strange in the silence of the Communists since they do not like anything or anybody representing nationalism.
