Kaloor: The protest against the slanderous statements made by DCC  President VK Paulose  condemning Sree Narayana Gurudevan and his  followers , on the Samadhi day of Guru is now becoming widespread. The protest march, spearheaded  by various Hindu organizations gathered at Kaloor, where an effigy of  Paulose was set ablaze.
Inaugurating the protest meet, Vibhag  Secretary of VHP NR Sudhakaran stated that the Congress must make it  clear whether the recent spate of defamation activities launched by  its party members against the Hindu community was with the blessings  of KPCC President Ramesh Chennitala.

“The Congress Party is suffering from jitters over the unity of Hindu  community. Hence a section of the party bigwigs, headed by those  belonging to the Christian community are behind this deliberate  slander,” said Advocate PC Ravikumar, Secretary (SNDP, North Branch,  Kaloor). The march that commenced at Kaloor Deshabhimani Road burnt  the effigy of VJ Paulose. Another protest march was held at  Kumbalangi, where again an effigy was burnt.
