CDB to provide financial aid for poor Hindus
Thrissur:Cochin Devaswom Board decided to provide financial aid for the marriage of poor Hindu girls and for the education of Hindu poor students.
CDB have allocated the amount for this purpose in their Budget.Hindu Families in Trichur, Ernakulam and Palakkad will be eligible to apply for the aid.The applications should be submitted to the Devaswom officer with income certificate.Those eligible can submit application from August 1.
The poor Hindu students studying Sri Kerala Varma College, Kunnakulam Vivekananda College,Chittoor Sanskrit Padasalah will also get financial help.Students should submit their applications to respective Institution heads.
