Buddha insecure, maoist posters on CM’s office
Kolkata:In a serious security breach that has left the West Bengal government very embarrassed, Maoists have managed to sneek past security and paste posters on the walls of the Chief Minister’s office in the heart of Kolkata.
The writer’s building, which houses the CM’s office along with the state secreteriat, is a high security area in Kolkata. Policemen found the posters on Friday morning at Gate no 1 of the secreteriat. The posters demanded a punishment for top CPI (M) leaders for the violence in Nandigram and also called for punishment for CPM leaders in the people’s court.
The posters were also found at Kolkata’s famous Coffee House. The chief secretary Prasad Ranjan Roy has said that the police commissioner will conduct an inquiry into the breach of security.
