Chennai:BJP State president L Ganesan today demanded CBI enquiry into attack on BJP headquarters, Kamalalayam in Chennai.

Talking to mediapersons here, Ganesan said the BJP would urge the Centre to dismiss the State government for letting loose violence against the party by indulging in ransacking of its offices by DMK cadres.

He said BJP would continue to stage protests across the State until the DMK government was dismissed.

Ganesan said that BJP would submit a memorandum to Governor Surjit Singh Barnala seeking CBI enquiry into the violence unleashed by DMK men yesterday .

Condemning the attack on the house of party State vice- president H Raja, he said that the DMK cadres targeted the residences of BJP functionaries. “The incidents prove that fascist rule is on in Tamilnadu” he said.

Coming down heavily on Minister Arcot N Veerasamy, he said the minister alone was responsible for violence unleashed on BJP office. Asked whether he should resign owning responsibility for the attack, he said that he should be dismissed forthwith.
