BJP flays Left over nuke deal
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP State secretary P.K. Krishnadas has said that the Left, which took steps to pass a resolution in the State Assembly against the nuke deal, was also responsible for the present situation.
In a statement here on Friday, Krishnadas said that when the BJP raised the issue both inside and outside Parliament for the last three years and insisted on discussing the deal in Parliament, the Left sided with the Congress.
The Left also turned against the BJP when the issue led to uproarious scenes in Parliament. The change in the stand of the Left is mysterious, he said.
