BJP announces Rs 1 lakh to civilian who kills militant in J&K

Jammu, June 08: BJP today announced Rs one lakh reward to the civilian who kills a militant and Rs two lakh to those who die fighting militants in the state.

“We have decided to reward any civilian with Rs one lakh package if he kills a militant in Jammu and Kashmir, particularly in Jammu region,” former Delhi Chief Minister Sahib Singh Verma told reporters here.

He said that those civilians, who die fighting militants would be given Rs two lakh package from BJP as a strategy to uproot and eliminate militancy from the picturesque landscape of Jammu and Kashmir.

Singh, who was leading satyagrah rally and court arrest along with 2500 activists earlier in the day, said that this is general announcement of BJP for the people of the state.
