BJP announces the launch of Yuva – An Internet TV channel
New Delhi, 9th February: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has always pioneered the use of internet and technology in communicating and engaging with the masses specially the youth in India. After a very successful foray in social media, mobile applications and being the first party to offer online memberships, BJP today announces the launch of YUVA, an internet TV channel for the Indian youth.
This initiative personally monitored by the party president, Shri Nitin Gadkari, is an effort to connect with the masses in a sustained manner. With the launch of this internet channel, BJP aims to create a content rich, experiential and innovative platform to communicate, engage and motivate the Indian youth on various political, health, economics, current affairs & cultural issues and most importantly the voice of “Young India”. Apart from these programs, the party would continue ongoing live webcasts of its rallies and other events.
“Bharatiya Janata Party believes that today’s young generation is the catalyst of future growth and is committed to providing them platforms for positive and active participation in India’s political process. We also firmly believe in the need for creating open forums to show case exemplary work done, projects of Antyodaya and Good Governance by the party and other social organizations across India. We are confident that like our social media and online membership initiatives, YUVA too would also be a stellar success” said Dr. Arvind Gupta, Convener National IT Cell, BJP.
The YUVA TV would be webcasted between 5 to 7 PM every day and the programs would be available on http://www.yuva4india.tv
